The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety Management is, accredited by IOSH, the excellent choice for the environmental health and safety professionals who wants to migrate to Canada and looking for a One year Postgraduate Diploma equivalence for Canadian Immigration but previously holding the Canadian equivalence of only a Bachelor’s degree in their ECA. This diploma takes the immigration applicants in “Two or more Degree/Certificates” category in their ECA.
The graduates of this qualification are eligible to apply for the Graduate level of membership as Grad IOSH. This qualification is also designed to cater the needs of Occupational Health and Safety Managers who are responsible to handle the projects in the construction industry or Oil & Gas.
This qualification provides an in-depth knowledge needed to perform the duties as a mid-career or a senior manager working in the field of occupational health and safety environment. Assessment
This course is assessed through 100% coursework with a range of methods, such as essays, research reports, presentations, group work and practical reports.
Entry Requirements
To apply for this Qualification applicants must have to meet one of the following criteria:
- Level 6 Diploma in any Discipline.
- Four year Bachelor’s degree or a 3 years Bachelor degree in any discipline.
- Applicants over 21 years of age having a relevant work experience can also apply, as a mature learner, without having any formal Qualification after passing the credibility interview conducted by the CGL admissions team.
- We welcome applications from international students. If your first language is not English you will be expected to have overall IELTS 6 (with at least 5.5 in each component). You may be exempt from providing evidence of English language proficiency if you have gained your previous Qualification from an English Speaking university or awarding body.
- All applications are considered on an individual basis. Applicants may be invited to an interview, either on campus at CGL or online, as part of the application process.
