Course Description
The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management is the right option for the Risk Managers who are looking for a One-year Postgraduate Diploma equivalence for Canadian Immigration but previously holding the Canadian equivalence of only a Bachelor’s degree in their ECA. This diploma takes the immigration applicants in “Two or more Degree/Certificates” category in their ECA.
The objective of the OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management is to provide learners with the skills and understanding in risk management that align with good strategic decision making to maintain organisations‟ competitive advantage.
The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management programme provides an indepth understanding of risk and their application in practice both for financial and non-financial organisations.
Learners will learn both theoretical and practical understanding of risk including risk measurement and modelling.
The OTHM Level 7 Diploma in Risk Management qualification enables learners to progress into or within employment and/or to work toward a relevant Master’s programme with advanced standing.

Assessment
This course is assessed through 100% coursework with a range of methods, such as essays, research reports, presentations, group work and practical reports.
Entry Requirements
- Level 6 Diploma in any Discipline.
- Four year Bachelor‟s degree or a 3 years Bachelor degree in any discipline.
- Applicants over 21 years of age having a relevant work experience can also apply, as a mature learner, without having any formal qualification.
- We welcome applications from international students. If your first language is not English you will be expected to have overall IELTS 6 (with at least 5.5 in each component). You may be exempt from providing evidence of English language proficiency if you have gained your previous qualification from an English Speaking university or awarding body.
- All applications are considered on an individual basis. Applicants may be invited to an interview, either on campus at CGL or online, as part of the application process
