Course Description

The OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is equivalent to the 1st year of a 3 years UK Bachelor degree.

 

This Level 4 diploma is a globally recognised fast-track international qualification which is the ideal choice for the college leavers who are looking for an employment entry at very early stage of their life.

 

The objective of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in Logistics and Supply Chain Management is to develop learners‟ understanding of theory and practice relating to their role in this sector. The qualification will provide learners with an opportunity to engage with the challenges facing professionals and policy makers in their own country. It will provide knowledge that underpins the ability to work as an effective practitioner in the logistics and supply chain sector. The units combine both theoretical and practical knowledge in the profession and will develop and enhance knowledge and skills in the areas of effective performance, planning and accountability, development and team working. Learners will be able to work in a variety of roles within logistics and supply chain management.

Assessment

This course is assessed through 100% coursework with a range of methods, such as essays, research reports, presentations, group work and practical reports.

Entry Requirements

To apply for this qualification applicant should meet one of the following entry requirement:

  • Level 3 Diploma in any Discipline.

 

  • A Levels or equivalent international qualification in any discipline.

 

  • FSc/ FA/ I.com/ 12th Grade or intermediate in any discipline.

 

  • Applicants having O Levels, Matric or 10th Grade with some work experience will be considered on case to case basis.

 

  • Applicants over 21 years of age having a relevant work experience can also apply, as a mature learner, without having any formal qualification.

 

  • We welcome applications from international students. If your first language is not English you will be expected to have overall IELTS 6 (with at least 5.5 in each component). You may be exempt from providing evidence of English language proficiency if you have gained your previous qualification from an English Speaking university or awarding body.

 

  • All applications are considered on an individual basis. Applicants may be invited to an interview, either on campus at CGL or online, as part of the application process.

Further Study

  • Graduates of the OTHM Level 4 Diploma in n Logistics and Supply Chain
    Management can get a direct entry into the 2nd years of a Bachelor (Hons) degree in the UK universities.

 

  • OTHM Level 4 plus Level 5 diploma qualifications are the HND (Higher National Diploma) as per the British qualification framework and the graduates will get a direct entry into the final year of a Bachelor (Hons) degree in the UK universities and a regular entry with some credit exemptions in Australia and Europe universities.
